THE HISTORY OF BARTEC PAPER & PACKAGING

Bartec Paper & Packaging has been trading in the United Kingdom since 1970. We are a second-generation, family-owned company specialising in packaging for the confectionery, bakery and food industries. Whilst the majority of our materials are used in food packaging, we also supply papers for soap wrappers and release liners for industrial applications.

Originally based in Denton, Manchester, our manufacturing facility has developed over the years to provide products of the highest quality, produced in a safe and hygienic environment. We relocated to Northwich in 2002 to a purpose-built facility and achieved BRC accreditation in 2003.

We have cooperation agreements with paper mills and European manufacturers which provide us with the capacity to cope with larger orders but commitment to effective customer service which understands that smaller volumes are often required.

Bartec operates a system of continuous in-house training, ensuring that all our staff are consistently striving towards improvements in product quality, waste reduction and health and safety. We work hard to maintain standards throughout the factory and seek to source materials and trade with suppliers and customers in accordance with our ethical statement.

Our manufacturing unit includes baking case machines, standard and register sheeters, guillotines and die cutters; we can handle a wide range of substrates from lightweight films to 500gsm board, sheeting or die cutting in register if required. We work closely with a variety of printers and coaters to deliver the branding required by our customer and we can also have reels of material slit to size or re-wound into rolls according to requirements.
