Happy New Year to all our customers.

In accordance with government guidelines on social distancing and safe working, we are continuing to operate with reduced staffing levels within a revised factory layout. As a result, the current lead time for all new orders is three to four weeks from confirmation of order.

Also, with the UK now having left the EU on 31st December 2020, we may need a little more time to understand whether any additional transport or administrative costs may be applicable. We shall endeavour to keep these to a minimum and will operate with complete transparency, detailing any such costs within a separate line on your invoice.

We fully understand there may be some concern among our customers over how we will manage the challenges posed by Brexit and we want to assure you that we have made full preparations to minimise disruption and prevent interruption of UK and EU supplies.

On receipt of an order, we will firstly acknowledge receipt and then, within two to three working days, we will provide all pricing details. Once these have been agreed by the customer, the order will be confirmed and from this point we expect to fulfil the order within a maximum of four weeks.

We are working hard to improve these lead times, but we would like customers to be aware of the additional time required for processing orders in the current circumstances.  We understand this is difficult, but we ask that you build the additional lead time into your planning processes. We appreciate your efforts in this regard and thank you for your continued support of Bartec.

We remain confident that neither the UK’s withdrawal from the EU nor the continuing Covid-19 situation will affect our ability to supply our customers and to continue to deliver the materials you need to the high standards of quality expected.
