May 2024 Update!

We made the decision to exhibit at this years Farm shop and Deli show at the NEC and it was definitely a worthwhile experience!

The Farm Shop and Deli Show held at the NEC this year was nothing short of a culinary extravaganza. From artisanal cheeses to handcrafted charcuterie, the event celebrated the vibrant world of farm shops and delis with gusto. Exhibitors from across the country showcased their finest products, and attendees were treated to a feast for the senses.

One of the standout features of the show was the emphasis on local and sustainable produce. With an increasing awareness of the importance of supporting small-scale producers and reducing food miles, many exhibitors proudly displayed their locally sourced goods. From farm-fresh fruits and vegetables to ethically reared meats, there was a strong commitment to quality and provenance throughout the event.

Cheese lovers were in for a treat with an array of artisanal cheeses on offer. From creamy bries to tangy cheddars, there was something to satisfy every palate. Standout exhibitors showcased unique varieties infused with herbs, spices, and even edible flowers, demonstrating the creativity and innovation within the industry.

The charcuterie section was equally impressive, with an enticing selection of cured meats and pâtés. Attendees had the opportunity to sample an assortment of salamis, prosciuttos, and terrines, expertly crafted.

No farm shop and deli show would be complete without a tempting array of baked goods, and this year’s event did not disappoint. From crusty artisan bread to delicate pastries, attendees were treated to a mouthwatering selection of sweet and savoury treats. Standout exhibitors showcased their mastery of traditional baking techniques, with handmade pies, tarts, and cakes that were as beautiful as they were delicious.

Not only did we manage to unveil our new displays for the stand, but it gave us the opportunity to speak with some great people! We met some of our existing customers, reconnected with some contacts from many years ago and made new connections for the future!

We promoted our wares including our new developmental Cushion trays which we had a lot of interest in, Also Ovtene Film including new “Ovtene Black” which was well received by the deli customers who came to speak to us.

Overall the show was very enjoyable and a valuable experience as we look forward to exhibiting again next year!
